To All Members
The Ferntree Gully Eagles Junior Football Club has once again been awarded 4 weeks of Junior finals hosting at Wally Tew Reserve.
Hosting Finals is a very big 'win' for our club and helps to generate a substantial profit for us. However to do this we need YOUR help and this year we will need it more than ever.
We could possibly end up having 7 sides playing finals and as such a lot of helpers may find themselves unable to help out when they normally would have. We need people to do 1 or 2, 2 hour shifts over the 4 days. We will have a Ground Manager who will co ordinate all activities and all you will have to do is work the designated job for a few hours.
Roles will range from Gate Attendant, BBQ, Canteeen, Kitchen and food handling, Scoreboard, Bins and very general tasks that ensure all goes smoothly on the day. It is very likely that if we get enough helpers overthe 4 weeks we will only need our volunteers to do 1 shift. Over the next week we will put out a roster for each week and within that roster we will allocate a role to each age group.
We need these time slots filled and we NEED you to help us out. Remember this is for your kids.
Please keep an eye out for a roster and it is very likely that this will come out via your Team Manager.
With so many sides likely to play finals we are going to need a big effort from all our members to make this successful.
Many Thanks and we look forward to seeing you all there.
